Inspired with lots of Pre- Raphaelite paintings with poor Ophelia's story, I know the theme's quite popular but...I wouldn't be myself if i didn't try to make my own version too :). Based on photomanipulation ( resources -two photos made by me ) with a couple of things added by painting...looks really poor, please give her a hand :(... :) have a nice day.

Love it. Years ago i saw Ophelia by John E Millais hanging in The Tate Gallery in London. I just had to touch it!!!

haha, mroczna gotycka Ofelia, powiadasz? A to ciekawe, zawsze kojarzyła mi się z niewiarygodnie niewinnym dziewczęciem, trochę nierozgarniętym w swoich pierwszych porywach serca, taka gąska troszkę, raczej mało demoniczna...ciekawe ze w sztuce nawet nie przedstawia się jej jako jak ś oszałamiającą piękność , ale najnormalniejszą dziewczynę która nie miała szczęścia w miłości niestety i skończyła cienko :)...

-ADYJB, there's nothing easier than to create similar world :) Btw, I envy you seeing ( and touching :) ) Millais' Ophelia- as I remember, there's also another of my favourite paintings there, in Tate- I mean Rossetti's Mariana- that's what I would not only like to touch but I would even eat it ...

My first thought when I saw this picture, before I even clicked on it was, "Ophelia!" ^_^ Not much of a comment but it's always cool to know that you're art's recognizable for what it's supposed to be. Anyway, lovely colors! There's an interesting texture in there too, I can almost feel it. It's a very neat picture.
