It's definitely a different impression if I consider the figure a "he"...I don't know what you meant his look to mean, but here he convinces me that there might not be so much difference between the prisoner and the imprisoned as one might imagine...:)

I'm not sure what I wanted to say by this look, heh. maybe a creature which is not really conscious of the game it's all about. A mask could mean both shyness & lies and games. The same as for white /purity combined with some nudity. Also, the gender's not defined here. An extended version of an " Alcuin" image, I'd say :)

Beautiful transitions from dark to light. The beads remind me of stars and the hair and skin glow from the blackness, very much like the moon. I love the gentle eeriness of the image. That look seems to read as neither sad nor happy, threatening nor innocent. I like the ambiguity.

My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk,
Or emptied some dull opiate to the drains

An effective and intriguing image in any case...his look, her look, it is quite strong and primal, birdlike rather than toy-like...I think it is the stronger image of the two...again my question: will there be more? :)

oh well, the mask actually makes me think of it like of a bird, as well . Especially on the first from the series... :)
I'm not sure about the continuation, still I haven't finished the work with the detail from " otterley ( I ) " . I have some more shots, but they're not necessarily that good as I wish them to be. But I think a whole series with humanized animals ( heh) would be a nice idea...

It definitely has something bird-like about it...together with this playful looking chain, he/she might well perch in some golden cage. :)

Oh, I think that would be brilliant (humanized animals), especially if you were to use more masks or some strange make-up...I would really like to see how you'd do something like this...a bit of masquerade, plays with shadows and poses and a bit of symbolism...the possibility of something like that is very enticing (and would solve the title problem for a while ;))

I'll think about it, actually it would need some further preparation, requisites, masks ( and I only have two- the venetian one and my face , actually, heheh ), but it sounds a promising idea .
